In January 2006, the union’s members of PVTrans positively participated in enrolling the competition of “Studying about 75 years of glorious history of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union — 26th March, 1931 - 26th March, 2006” which was awarded many private and group prizes by the company.
On 23rd January, 2006, the Youth Union of PVTrans enthusiastically donated and contributed an amount of nearly 1 million VND for building Can Gio outdoor center in response of the movement which was initiated by the Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh city.
On 3rd March, 2006, in response of the movement which was initiated and organized by the Unions, the base Union of PVTrans provided 2 union’s members to take part in the delegation of social works for visiting and giving gifts to the combatants of frontier post of Long An province.
On 23rd March, 2006, according to the spirit of Dispatch no 06 TB/DKDK of the Unions Standing Commission about participating “The first pink vacation, 2006”, the youth union of PVTrans sponsored 4,5 million VND and provided 10 union’s members together with Unions’ officers to join in a social-affairs trip at Dieu Phap pagoda, where the alone, old person and misfortune children were fostered in such pagoda as a warm house.
On the 26th March, 2006, the union’s members of PVTrans zealously attended the celebration of 75th anniversary of the foundation of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union which was organized by the Union of Ho Chi Minh city at the circular street of Le Duan — Pasteur pursuant to the spirit of Dispatch no 06 TB/ÄKDK promulgated by the Unions Standing Commission on 20th March, 2006.
In addition, on the occasion of this ceremony, the Youth Union of PVTrans organized propagating, hanging banners and slogans as well as publicizing information and photos of Union’s activities on the Union’s news bulletin of PVTrans.
Responded enthusiastically and executed seriously the movements of buying lottery tickets in order to support the programme “For our beloved Truong Sa island” and the DVD “Young City”.
Supported an expenditure of 10 million VND, collaboratively organized and participated the 13th “pink vacation”, 2006. 100 percent of youth-union’s members (specialist category) participated in the class of popularizing the Decision of 10th Congress of Communist Party fully and seriously which was organized by the Party Committee of Petroleum Unions.
Maintained the activities of visiting the revolutionary martyr’s families in the national ceremony occasions.
Participated enthusiastically in the contribution of donation for the victims of natural disasters in storms and floods in Middle of Vietnam.
On September, 2006 the youth-union’s members of PVTrans participated positively in the programme “Campaign for a cleaner and fresher world in 2006” with the theme “Desert and desertilication” which was initiated and mobilized by the general company of PVTrans and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
On the occasion of the anniversary of the foundation of Vietnam People’s Army — the 22nd December, the officers and staffs of PVTrans, who are veterans, were invited to tell the youth-union’s members about the traditional history of Vietnam.
The youth union of PVTrans exchanged and gave flowers to the women in PVTrans on the World Women’s Day - March, the 8th and on the occasion of the anniversary of the foundation of Vietnam Women’s Union on October, the 20th.
