Business development negotiation between PVTrans and Venezuela partners

On 10th August 2008, PVTrans delegation accompanied PetroVietnam senior officers has paid a business visit to Venezuela to continue its negotiation with PetrÃ³leos de Venezuela S.A. (PDVSA), the state-owned corporation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, for mutual business development.

The objective of the visit is to promote a cooperation agreement for crude oil and product oil transportation from Venezuela to the 3^rd Oil Refinery in Viet Nam, which will be located in Long Son, Ba Ria — Vung Tau Province.

During recent discussions between PDVSA and PetroVietnam, PDVSA is recognized as a strategic partner of Viet Nam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam). In 2006, PVDSA was ranked 35^th in the World’s largest corporations by Fortune Magazine (Fortune Global 500).
