PVTRANS received Asia Entrepreneurship Awards 2019 Vietnam for Corporate excellence Award and outstanding Award in the second time

On October 10th, 2019, Enterprise Asia - the leading business non-governmental organization in Asia announced the list of 13 Enterprises and 13 Entrepreneurs receiving the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards- APEA.

The official Awards Ceremony of APEA Viet Nam 2019 took place in Hochiminh city. PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans) was honored to receive Corporate Excellence Award and Outstanding Award. 

Under the topic "Promoting comprehensive economic development through sustainable entrepreneurship", APEA 2019 was successfully organised with the participation of more than 200 leading enterprises, representative entrepreneurs, leaders of international business associations and diplomatic agencies.



Enterprise Asia - a non-governmental organisation in pursuit of creating an Asia that is rich in entrepreneurship as an engine towards sustainable and progressive economic and social development within a world of economic equality. Since 2007, The Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) has been a prestigious award in Asia to honour the outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises, hence inspiring creativity, greater innovation and fair competition for growth of sustainable socio - economic. APEA has strict criteria, high competitive evaluation and hard evaluation and voting process.

This is the 13th year that Enterprise Asia has organised this award in 14 Asia Pacific countries including Hong Kong, Singapore, India, China…) with more than 3,000 nominations per year and about 1/10 of them has been honoured this award.

In 2019, PVTrans's consolidated revenues and profits are in good results. In 9 months of 2019, estimated revenues reached VND 5,930.5 billion, equivalent to 149% of the 9-month plan and 108% of the year plan; Estimated profit before tax reached VND 700.1 billion, equivalent to 194% of the 9-month plan and 140% of the year plan; Payment to the State budget was VND 267.7 billion, equivalent to 161% of the 9-month plan and 117% of the year plan. 

Currently , PVTrans is the leading liquid shipping enterprise in Vietnam. This award creates an engine and a belief for PVTrans's goal of reaching the international market under strong internal ability, large and modern fleet, transparent finance, stable growth of business, sustainable development and skilled and responsible staff..
