PVTrans is continuously listed in top 500 of largest enterprises in Vietnam

On 16th January, 2019, at Rex Hotel - Hochiminh City, Vietnam Report J.S.C (VNR) together with VietnamNet Newspaper officially organized the announcement ceremony of VNR500 ranking - honoring top 500 Vietnam largest enterprises in 2018. Meanwhile, PVTrans was ranked as 193/500 honorably.

This is the 12th year that VNR500 ranking are officially announced to honor outstanding enterprises with achievements in business activities in the fiscal year 2018. The ceremony was attended by leaders of Ministry of Information and Communication, leaders of National Financial Supervisor Committee, Consul General, Commercial Counselor of some countries and international organizations such as Canada, Thailand, Malaysia, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, ..., leaders of People's Committee of Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Can Tho, ...with economic domestic and foreign experts and over 400 representatives from big companies in Vietnam.

With this good news, PVTrans's business activities in 2018 achieved the highest results since 2002 - the date of establishment with consolidated revenue of VND7,750 billion and profit before tax of VND910 billion. Accordingly, PVTrans's revenues and profit before tax in 2018 were estimated to increase by 26% and 36% respectively against 2017, equivalent to VND6,147 trillion and VND670 billion. Due to maintaining good results in business activities and high profits in recent years, PVTrans has been honored to be in the top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam ranked by VNR in many consecutive years. The appreciation of organizations by ranking business is good news, valuable rewards encouraging for unremitting effors of our leaders and employees during recent time.



 

In addition, 02 subsidiaries of PVTrans were also honored in top 500 at the first time including International Gas Product Shipping J.S.C (Gas Shipping) and Pacific Petroleum Transportation J.S.C (PVTrans Pacific). These rewards have exposed appropriate strategies from PVTrans.

This year, PVN and many subsidiaries were honored in Top 500 such as Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical JSC (BSR), PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (GAS), PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOil), Vietsovpetro, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PVPower), PTSC, PVFCCo, PVCFC, PVI, PETROSETCO, PVComBank and others.  This is a good signal for the whole petroleum industry in the current difficult period.

VNR500 from VNR is based on independent and scientific criteria and principles and follow the international ranking standards.
