THE PRIME MINISTER ATTENDED IN THE YEAR-END 2018 BUSINESS ACTIVITIES CONFERENCE OF THE VIETNAM OIL AND GAS GROUP (pvn)

In the afternoon on 11 January, the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended in the year - end 2018 business activities Conference and deploying the plan of 2019 of PVN.

In the meeting, there were Mr. Vu Hong Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly; Mr. Cao Duc Phat - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Central Economic Committee; Mr. Bui Van Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Pham Viet Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprise; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises; representatives of ministries and central branches.

On the side of PVN, there were Mr. Tran Sy Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Group; Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son - CEO of PVN ... with the former leaders of the PVN through many periods, the Party Committee, Board of Members, Board of Managers, Heads of Socio-political organizations in PVN, Managers of subsidiaries, partners, Heads of the Departments / Offices and representative employees of PVN.

To encourage PVN's employees with the achievements in 2018, General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong sent a flower basket to congratulate the conference.

There were many PVN's outstanding achievements in 2018 after PVN has successfully completed targets by deadline, especially increase in reserve, output of oil and gas and financial indicators.



 

In particular, total oil and gas output reached 23.98 million tons of equivalent to oil, exceeding 5.0% of the year plan, including crude oil exploitation reached 13.97 million tons (exceeding 735 thousand tons, equivalent to 5.6% against the year plan). Vietnam Oil and Gas Group has reached the 390,000,000th ton on April 28, 2018. Domestic crude oil exploitation completed the whole year plan (11.31 million tons) before 21 days, the whole year 2018 reached 12.0 million tons, (exceeding 675 thousand tons, meaning exceeding 6.0% of the year plan). Overseas crude oil exploitation completed the whole year plan (1.92 million tons) before 10 days, the whole year 2018 reached 1.98 million tons (exceeding 60 thousand tons, equivalent to 3.1% of the year plan). Gas exploitation completed the whole year plan (9.60 billion m3) before 15 days, the whole year 2018 reached 10.01 billion m³ (exceeding 410 million m3, equivalent to 4.3% against the year plan). Vietnam Oil and Gas Group reached the milestone of the 140 billion th on September 27, 2018.

Nitrogen production completed the plan of whole year 2018 (1.54 million tons) before 18 days, the year 2018 reached 1.63 million tons (exceeding 88 thousand tons, equivalent to 5.7% against the year plan). Vietnam Oil and Gas Group has reached the milestone of producing the 16th million ton on July 19, 2018. Vietnam Oil and Gas Group reached the 170th billion kWh of electricity on December 2, 2018. In the processing sector, Dung Quat Oil Refinery has reached the 55th million on all kinds of products on August 30, 2018.

In addition, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group also exceeded the financial plan targets. Specifically, total consolidated revenue has been estimated at VND 626.8 trillion (exceeding VND 96 trillion, equivalent to exceeding 18.1% of the 2018 plan, up to 25.9% compared to 2017). . Submitting to the State budget has been estimated at VND 121.3 trillion (exceeding VND 47.5 trillion, exceeding 64.3% of the year plan, up to 24.3% compared to 2017).
