In 2006, the Youth Union Branch of PVTrans was approved to be upgraded into a base Union with more than 70 union’s members. These members were divided into 4 belonged Union Branches to act in their own particular fields of the corresponding departments and branches.

In July 2006, the belonged Union Branches of PVTrans successfully hosted many congresses of Union Branches and voted for the Executive Committee of Union Branches.

In August 2006, the PVTrans base Union successfully held the congress of base Union for the term of 2006-2008 and voted for the Executive Committee of base Union which comprised 9 comrades.
